South Tipperary County Council Arts Service presents Dig where you stand, a project collaboratively conceived by curators Eilís Lavelle, Rosie Lynch and the artist/writer Sarah Lincoln. The project has been driven by the optimistic premise that the visual arts can speak in strong and original ways to the local, and can strengthen a sense that inspiration does not have to reside elsewhere, but exists in latent form under one’s feet.

The Dig where you stand exhibition explores language and text in relation to the telling of the past and geographical location, responding to the context of a museum setting.
